Hi! I'm Grayson!
I'm new around here.
This is my sister holding me at the hospital. She thinks I'm one cool cat!
Here I am still at the hospital...I was born with hands but they kept hiding them from me!
Not cool...so not cool!
Here I am with sister and my daddy...they just like looking at me I guess.
This picture was taken in our backyard when I was about 8 days old.
When mom sent this to her friends a few said that I looked sad because she made me sleep on the park bench. I was just ready for her get the camera out of my face, you know?
In this picture I am just plain exasperated! My swing died so the parents borrowed one from a friend until they could replace it. They neglected to tell me they were borrowing a pink swing. But I'm cool with pink...it just brings out my sensitive side!
(Now a word from mom)
William Grayson Duncan was born on April 11 at 1:11.
I think 11 might be the lucky number!
He weighed in at 6lbs 2.3 oz and was 19 1/2" long.
I had a repeat c-section and he was born without any complications. We were amazed to see how much he looks like Madeline did when she was born. As soon as I can find the files I plan to do some side by side comparisons of the two of them. Madeline weighed 6lbs 0 oz and was 19 5/8" so they were so very close in size. So far he's been a wonderful baby. He only seems to want to be held and suggled and there are plenty of folks that are willing to do that!
We were able to have some professional photos taken of both Grayson and Madeline when he was 1 week old and we are so happy with the way they turned out. Our photographer is the amazing Erica Sledge. She's a local girl out of Midland and I think her work speaks for itself. If you are thinking about having photos done locally I highly recommend her!!
Here are some of the photos she posted on her blog.
(I love just scrolling through her entries to look at all the pictures).
Grayson was 3 weeks yeaterday and things are going along pretty well. Madeline is a wonderful big sister and is adjusting to the change pretty well. Will and I are also adjusting and sometimes have a hard time wrapping our minds around the fact that we are now a family of four. We have been so blessed to have our family nearby to help out and wonderful friends, both old and new, helping out and visiting as well. The Lord really has blessed our lives!
