Peanuts

Madeline's teacher told me this story:

She overheard Madeline and a little boy talking while in one of their centers. After a short while, the chat became a little loud with Madeline saying, "I do too have peanuts at my house!" and the little boy replying, "Girls do NOT have peanuts!"

At this point the teacher thinks to herself, "this isn't really about peanuts."

Madeline storms over to the teacher and tells her that her friend says she doesn't have peanuts but she does because her Pops brought them to her. The teacher doesn't really respond because the little boy is headed over towards her. Madeline goes off and the little boy says to the teacher, "Madeline says that she has penis at her house but my dad says girls don't have penises!" and walks away leaving the teacher to ponder this situation:)

Out of the mouths of babes!

I am glad he did not show her his peanut. My grandchild is too young to learn about that.
